Regional Airports

Not counting the Kaldus International Airport, there will be 4 regional airports. They will be North East, North West, South East, and South West. All of these regional airports will be designed to support short haul, and medium haul aircrafts. This means large aircraft such as the Boeing 747 will not be able to land at these airports unless there was an aircraft emergency. However, most such aircraft can likely be diverted to the original destination of the Kaldus International Airport.

Regional Airports will also function as the county heliport. This will provide for some assurance that there will be the options for transport in and out of the airport when going to another county. As with the Kaldus International Airport, security will be employed to screen passengers, and police will function as law enforcement. The regional airport however may not be functioning 24/7 as there is likely no demand for such service. Everything is designed to meet the roles of the airport as needed.

All regional airports will have an Airbus H225 designated for the royal family. This will allow me to go to any county in the nation if the need was to arise. From the international airport, I will take the smaller airplane to the regional airport, and then the helicopter to the appropriate county. This makes the most sense as there will be no need to somehow transport the helicopter to the county that needs to go to. There will only be 2 such helicopters at each regional airport.
