A heliport is an airport that will only be able to support helicopters, and tilt-rotor aircraft. This means no runways, and therefore a smaller footprint taking up land. Every county will have a heliport. The heliports are intended to have a place to host air ambulances, and police helicopters as well. Since every county must support for this, it just makes sense to also use this heliport in the infrastructure of Kaldus Air. There will be a public area of the heliport, and a restricted area where passengers are not allowed to go to without being escorted.
At the heliport, there might be an auto rental business, and there will definitely be a KTA public bus station to get people to the rest of the county. KTA will likely give the heliport its own numeric designation as described in KTA‘s website. Since Kaldus Air is under KTA’s systems, it will just make sense to have at least one bus line to the heliport, therefore – promoting using public transit when possible. This will especially be needed if there is no car rental business next to the heliport.
